This week's guest has been on a nonstop journey of change and
transition in her personal and professional life. Alison Gaulden
joins us for Episode 12 and shares her story starting out as a
painfully-shy student in high school and progressing through to
becoming a reproductive rights advocate, a student mentor and a
Lecturer at Reynolds School of Journalism.
She has overcome many challenges, obstacles and important losses, but she still holds on to her sassy, unapologetic spirit and encourages other women to do the same.
She says, "Happiness doesn't come to you when you do all the right things. Every day you have to get up and decide, no matter what crappy things are going to happen, I'm going to be happy...look at what you are putting out there, what energy, what approach you have, and reassess if it's not working for you, what can you do that's different?"
